BRADLEY HUNT

HIS ROOTS

Raised in South Greensboro by his mother, Yvonne Hunt Perry, Bradley learned early the values of faith, perseverance, and responsibility. Those formative experiences shaped his lifelong commitment to service and justice. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from North Carolina A&T State University and later a Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity, grounding both his advocacy and his ministry in compassion, integrity, and purpose.

Bradley is the Senior Pastor of Elm Grove Baptist Church, where he has walked alongside families through some of life’s hardest and most joyful moments—supporting seniors, mentoring youth, connecting neighbors with resources, and building partnerships to meet real needs. In addition to his pastoral leadership, Bradley has served in our public schools as a Behavior Intervention Specialist, supporting students and families facing challenges both inside and outside the classroom.

Bradley’s commitment to justice and community extends far beyond the church walls. He previously served as President of the Greensboro NAACP, helping lead efforts around voting rights, fairness, and equity. He currently serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity, working to expand affordable housing and strengthen neighborhoods. He is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and a Prince Hall Free and Accepted Mason, organizations rooted in service, leadership, and community uplift.

Above all, Bradley is a husband to Brittani, a proud girl dad to Harlem and Hampton. He understands the everyday hopes and struggles of working families. Everything he does—whether in the pulpit, the classroom, or the community—is guided by a simple belief: our communities thrive when everyone has a seat at the table, and no one is left behind.

HIS COMMITMENT

Bradley is running for office for the same reason he has answered every other call to serve: because families deserve leaders who will listen, tell the truth, and fight for opportunity, fairness, and dignity for everyone — not just the well-connected.

HIS FOCUS

People First

01

Cost of Living

Families in our community are working hard — but everything keeps getting more expensive. Groceries, rent, utilities, childcare, and basic necessities are stretching people past their limits. I’ve seen seniors cut prescriptions in half, parents work two and three jobs, and young families feel like they’ll never get ahead.

I’m running to fight for fair wages, affordable housing, lower everyday costs, and policies that help working families — not just the well-connected. No one should be doing everything right and still falling behind.

02

Strong Public Schools

A great education shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code. Our students deserve safe classrooms, qualified teachers, updated resources, and real support — academically and emotionally. As someone who works closely with children and families, I see how much potential they have when they’re given opportunity.

I’ll fight to fully fund public schools, support teachers, expand early childhood education, and create pathways to college, trades, and good-paying jobs — so every child has a real chance to succeed.

03

Affordable, Accesible Healthcare

Too many families are one illness away from crisis. People delay care because of cost, skip doctor visits, and struggle to find mental health services. That isn’t right — and it isn’t sustainable.

I believe healthcare is a basic necessity. I’ll work to expand affordable coverage, reduce prescription costs, protect local hospitals and clinics, and make mental and behavioral health care easier to reach. People deserve care they can afford — close to home.

04

Safe, healthy communites

Real public safety starts long before an emergency call. It starts with stable housing, strong schools, youth programs, jobs that pay a living wage, and trust between neighbors and institutions.

I support strategies that reduce violence, hold everyone accountable, and invest in prevention and community resources. We should build communities where families feel safe, kids have opportunities, and everyone has a stake in the future.ing

05

Trust and accountability in government

People are tired of politics that ignores everyday realities. Too many decisions are made about us — without us. My approach to leadership is simple: show up, listen, be honest, and put people first.

I’m running to bring transparency, accessibility, and integrity back to public service. I’ll be accountable, I’ll communicate, and I’ll make sure our community has a real seat at the table.
